Training offer for professionals
More and more individuals, professionals, organizations, and volunteers are coming into contact with people from Afghanistan and the surrounding region. However, knowledge about Afghan culture, history, and the motivations that shape the behavior and choices of this group is often lacking. That lack of insight can lead to misunderstandings, missed opportunities, or unnecessary distance.
With our trainings, we aim to:
build bridges between professionals and the Afghan community,
foster greater understanding and cultural sensitivity,
provide practical tools to collaborate more effectively and respectfully,
and contribute to greater inclusion and better support for people with an Afghan background.
Whether you want to learn out of personal interest or because you work with this group on a daily basis, HWA helps you gain a deeper understanding of their background and the challenges they—and you as a professional—face.
Our trainings are carefully chosen and valuable on their own, but together they form a powerful program.
