SDG Meeting
On December 19, 2024, HWA, in collaboration with Total Energies Foundation and other partners, organized an inspiring SDG Meeting and Networking Event at Den Bell in Antwerp. This event brought together various organizations to work towards a shared vision: promoting collaboration, raising awareness, and sharing best practices related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
HWA acted as a bridge by connecting organizations from different sectors and providing a platform for exchanging experiences and ideas. The event emphasized the crucial role of collaboration in achieving universal goals such as poverty eradication (SDG 1), quality education (SDG 4), gender equality (SDG 5), economic growth (SDG 8), and reducing inequalities (SDG 10).
During the event, impactful projects were presented, showcasing the direct results of the efforts of HWA and its partners. In interactive sessions, participants shared their expertise and collectively reflected on future action points. A musical intermezzo, performed by participants from an HWA project, illustrated how talent development and empowerment contribute to an inclusive and just society.
HWA is proud to have worked together with all partners in achieving and advancing these goals. This gathering was not only an opportunity to celebrate successes but also an invitation to continue building new initiatives together. HWA emphasized its unique role as a connecting link in the network, inspiring and mobilizing partners around common goals. The event demonstrated that collective efforts are the key to achieving the SDGs and that collaboration makes us stronger.
